Wogan [d1781] earned a reputation as painters of miniatures Robert was also
a Jeweler .He did likenesses in hair from life or pictures for mourning
rings, lockets and bracelets .Thomas probably a son or brother of Robert
,studied in Dublin Society School, which he entered in 1768 .He exhibited at
the National Gallery in London 1776-1778 as well as in Encyclopedia of
British Painters .He lived in the same house as Robert until after his
return. |

that Wogan was a Prominent Family name in Ireland and England and Wales until they
fell from grace when the Protestant Kings and Queens came to reign in England. I
